NetDisable allows you to turn off any network connection. - Time controlled windows service.
You can even define which ports to keep open (outside the open period) or which ports to close (outside the open period) Perfect for letting parent control children's internet usage.
You can define a open-mask for each day of week. Or use an "everyday" mask.
ND is a simple Network control application. Its main purpose is to control usage of the internet. You can set a time range and between those times, the pre-defined ports will be closed! You can simply define that between
14.00 and 22.00 the computer can use the network, and from 22.00 to 14.00 the next day the internet (or other ports) will be closed.
This is to help parents control the time children spend on the net. Some children can sit at the PC chatting the whole night, and some parents are
tired of controlling whether the child is on the network or not. ND is configured with an administrative password which ensures that the application cannot be shut down unless the password is entered.
You can't KILL the process (using Windows NT Taskmanager) because the application isn't listed! This makes ND completely safe.
